Maintenance and upkeep of fuel filters
There are three main types of fuel filters, namely diesel filters, gasoline filters, and natural gas filters. The fuel filter is mainly used for filtering engine fuel, removing impurities and moisture, etc. This can effectively protect engine parts and reduce wear. Therefore, it is important to regularly clean the fuel filter. The fuel filter is connected to the pipeline between the fuel pump and the throttle valve inlet. The structure of the fuel injector is composed of an aluminum shell and a bracket with stainless steel inside. The bracket is equipped with a high-efficiency filter paper component, and the electronic fuel injection filter cannot be used interchangeably with the carburetor filter. Because the electronic fuel injection filter often withstands fuel pressure of 200-300 kPa. Therefore, the pressure resistance strength of the filter is generally required to reach 500kPa or above, while the filter of the carburetor cannot meet the requirements. I suggest that everyone replace the fuel filter every 30000 kilometers. If the fuel impurity content is high, the driving distance should be correspondingly shortened. The arrow on the fuel filter housing indicates the direction of fuel flow, and it is not allowed to install the fuel filter upside down. Even if it works in an inverted state for a short period of time, it must be replaced.
Friendly reminder: Fuel filters are consumables and require regular maintenance and replacement, otherwise it will reduce the protective effect on the engine. The specific replacement and maintenance cycle can refer to the user manual provided by the fuel filter manufacturer when selling.
