The function of the air filter element is to filter particulate impurities in the air, ensure that sufficient clean air enters the cylinder, prevent dust suspended in the air from being sucked into the engine, and accelerate the wear of the piston group and cylinder.
The air conditioner filter is used to filter the impurities contained in the air entering the interior of the car from the outside, such as tiny particles, pollen, bacteria, industrial waste gas and dust, so as to improve the cleanliness of the air, prevent such substances from entering the air conditioning system and damaging the air conditioning system, provide a good air environment for the passengers in the car, and also prevent glass atomization.
Extended data:
1. Air conditioning filter maintenance:
Check and replace the air conditioning filter according to the maintenance schedule. In dusty or congested areas, it may need to be replaced in advance.
If the air flow at the vent is significantly reduced, the filter may be blocked. Check the filter and replace it if necessary.
To prevent damage to the system, make sure that the filter is installed. If the air conditioning system is used without the filter, the system may be damaged.
Do not clean the filter with water.
When cleaning or replacing the air conditioning filter, the air conditioning system must be turned off first.
2. Air filter maintenance:
The dry inertial air filter is composed of dust cover, deflector, dust outlet, dust cup, etc. During maintenance, attention should be paid to: regularly check and clean the dust discharge hole on the centrifugal dust cover, remove the dust adhering to the deflector, and pour out the dust in the dust collection cup (the dust collection volume in the container should not exceed 1/3 of its volume). During installation, the sealing of the rubber gasket at the connection shall be ensured, and there shall be no air leakage, otherwise the air flow will be short-circuited, the rotation speed of the air will be reduced, and the dust removal effect will be greatly reduced.
The dust removal cover and the flow guide should be kept in the correct shape. If there is any bump, it should be timely reshaped to avoid changing the flow direction of the original design and reducing the filtering effect.
Some drivers are not allowed to add fuel to the dust collector cup (or dust collector disc). Because the oil is easy to splash to the dust outlet, deflector and other parts, so that this part can absorb dust, and ultimately reduce the filtration and separation capacity.
