The air filter element is a component that needs to be replaced regularly. If it is replaced irregularly, the air filter element will become clogged after a long time, and it will not be able to filter the air inhaled by the car. If the air is not filtered, the dust in the air will be sucked into the cylinder, which will cause the wear of the piston group and the cylinder.
The air filter is quite easy to disassemble:
1. First open the engine compartment cover and confirm the position of the air filter. The air filter is generally located on the left side of the engine compartment, above the left front wheel. You can see a square plastic black box with the filter element installed inside;
2. There are 4 buckles around the casing cover, which are used to press the plastic casing on top of the air filter to keep the air inlet pipeline sealed;
3. The structure of the buckle is relatively simple. We only need to gently lift the two metal clips upward to lift the upper cover of the entire air filter. There are also some models that use screws to fix the air filter. At this time, you need to choose a suitable screwdriver to unscrew the screw on the air filter box, then you can open the plastic shell and see the air filter inside. Just take it out directly;
Under normal circumstances, the air filter element is replaced once every 20,000 kilometers. Strictly speaking, there is no standard and consistent answer for the replacement time of the air filter element, and it must be analyzed flexibly according to the actual situation. If the road conditions are bad, it is best to replace it every 10,000 kilometers.
