How often do fuel filters need to be replaced
The replacement cycle of the fuel filter is generally around 10000 kilometers, and you can refer to the instructions in the vehicle manual. Generally speaking, during car maintenance, the fuel filter, oil filter, and air filter need to be replaced together. Regular replacement of oil filters, fuel filters, and air filters can effectively reduce engine wear and ensure their service life, which is the key to maintaining the engine.

How to replace the fuel filter
A good driver is also a good repairman. They often replace filters by hand, saving money and also gaining a better understanding of the structure of their car.
1. Disconnect the power supply
Before replacing the filter, it is necessary to disconnect the vehicle's power supply to avoid gasoline leakage during disassembly.
2. Remove the oil pump assembly
Remove the seat cushion of the rear seats and the cover plate on the oil pump. After removing the snap ring, the oil pump assembly can be removed.
3. New fuel filter replacement
Remove the old fuel filter and replace it with a new one. Replace the corresponding components on the old filter with a new filter assembly.
4. Sealing
Install the oil pump assembly of the new fuel filter back into the fuel tank and apply lubricant on the sealing ring of the fuel pump to prevent fuel or fuel gas leakage. And install the fixing snap ring of the oil pump.
5. Check for leaks
After the above filter replacement is completed, it is necessary to install the oil pump cable plug and fuel pipe, and conduct a test drive to check for any leaks. If there is a leak, the sealing ring needs to be reinstalled.
