It is understood that when walking on smoky roads, the air filter is prone to blockage. If a dirty air filter is used during driving, it will cause insufficient intake of air, incomplete fuel combustion, unstable engine operation, decreased power, and increased fuel consumption.
Therefore, it is necessary to keep the air filter clean. According to the vehicle maintenance cycle, when the ambient air quality is generally good, the air filter needs to be cleaned every 5000 kilometers; When the surrounding air quality is poor, it is best to clean it up every 3000 kilometers in advance.

Air filter cleaning method
Open the engine compartment cover, lift the air filter box cover forward, take out the air filter element, gently tap the end face of the filter element. If it is a dry filter element, it is recommended to use compressed air to blow from the inside out to remove dust on the filter element; If it is a wet filter element, it is recommended to wipe it clean with a cloth. Remember not to wash with gasoline or water. If the air filter has become severely clogged, a new filter needs to be replaced.
