(1) When the dust in the dust collection cup exceeds 1/3, it must be removed, and the dust in the central pipeline should be promptly removed. When installing the dust collection cup, install the gasket and pay attention to its sealing performance.
(2) Clean the metal filter screen in a timely manner according to the operating conditions. During installation, wait for the cleaning oil to drip dry before soaking in the engine oil. Wait for the excess engine oil to flow out before assembly. Dry paper filter cartridges cannot be cleaned with diesel. During maintenance, gently pat and shake the dust at both ends of the filter cartridge, and then use a soft bristle brush to clean or compressed air to blow it clean from the opposite side.
(3) Regularly check and replace the oil in the oil pan of the oil bath air filter. The oil level should not exceed the ring groove in the oil pan to prevent oil from being sucked into the cylinder, causing carbon buildup or causing speeding. When the oil becomes thicker and has poor fluidity, it should be cleaned and replaced in a timely manner. The filtered waste oil should be diluted by adding 1/3 of diesel oil to the oil in winter.
The air filter is an important component of the diesel engine air supply system, which can purify the air entering the intake pipe. If the air filter is not maintained in a timely or correct manner, it can cause serious early wear of cylinder liners, piston rings, intake and exhaust valves and other parts, resulting in a decrease in engine power, and even seriously shortening the engine's service life.
