The air cleaner is located at the front of the engine intake system. It is an assembly composed of one or several clean air filter components. Its main function is to filter the harmful impurities in the air before the air enters the cylinder of the diesel engine, so as to reduce the early wear of the cylinder, piston, piston ring, valve and valve seat. The filter housing material is metal or plastic. The material of the filter element end cover is metal or polyurethane. Under the rated air volume flow, the original filtration efficiency of the filter element shall not be less than 99.5%. Oil filter The oil filter is located in the engine lubrication system. Its upstream is the oil pump, and its downstream is the various parts in the engine that need lubrication. Its function is to filter harmful impurities in the oil from the oil pan. Clean oil is supplied to the crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft, supercharger, piston ring and other moving pairs. It plays the role of lubrication, cooling and cleaning, thus extending the service life of these parts. The filter materials used for oil filter include filter paper, felt, metal mesh, non-woven fabric, etc. It is required to be able to withstand large working pressure and high oil temperature (the oil filter provided by Scharf can withstand 110 ° C high temperature at least). Sharf monorail crane locomotive adopts dual oil filter element to ensure that the oil of all lubricating parts is clean in the engine. However, the oil filter element must be replaced regularly and the original accessories must be purchased according to the requirements in the operation manual of monorail crane locomotive.

The diesel fuel filter is used to filter harmful particles and water in the fuel gas system of the engine to protect the nozzle of the diesel fuel injection pump, cylinder liner and piston ring of the combustion cylinder, reduce wear and avoid blockage.
The biggest harm to the working performance and life of diesel engine is the impurity particles and pollution entering the diesel engine. They are the first killer of engines. Diesel engine filters include air, oil, fuel and cooling water filters, which are generally called "four filters". They are responsible for the filtration of impurities in the lubricating system, combustion system and cooling water system of the engine intake system.

Its working pressure and diesel temperature resistance are required to be lower than that of oil filter; However, its filtration efficiency is higher than that of oil filter. The filter element of the diesel filter is mostly made of filter paper, and some are made of felt or polymer materials. In addition to filtering the mechanical impurities in the diesel oil, the diesel oil filter also has an important function of filtering water. The presence of water is very harmful to the fuel supply system of diesel engine, which is rusted, worn and blocked. It will even worsen the combustion process of diesel in the combustion cylinder. The lower part of the filter is equipped with a settling chamber. When the water accumulates to a certain amount, the valve shall be opened to drain the water. The second stage is fine filtration, which removes impurities of 5&mum and above, and protects the combustion system of diesel engine.
