It is generally recommended that the diesel filter should be replaced after 5000-10000km. If the diesel filter element is blocked, the diesel engine will suffer from insufficient power, weak driving and even black smoke due to insufficient fuel supply and low oil pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to comply with the replacement requirements of the diesel filter element and replace it regularly to ensure that the diesel filter element can normally filter diesel at all times.
The diesel filter element can effectively prolong the service life of the fuel injection pump, diesel nozzle and other filter elements by filtering the impurities in the diesel. The diesel filter has two types of structures, namely replaceable and rotary.
Diesel filter replacement
1. Close the oil inlet ball valve and open the upper end cap. If the upper end cap is aluminum alloy type, gently pry it from the side gap with a flat screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the dirty oil.
3. Loosen the fastening nut on the upper end of the filter element, wear oil-proof gloves to hold the filter element tightly, and remove the old filter element in a vertical direction.
4. Replace the filter element with a new one, install the upper sealing ring and tighten the nut.
5. Tighten the drain plug, install the upper end cover and tighten the fastening bolts.
When using the diesel filter, it needs to be replaced frequently. In order to make the quality of diesel fuel involved in combustion better, make it participate in combustion more fully, provide better power for the vehicle, and make the driver have a more comfortable experience when driving.
