Manual tightening method of oil filter:
1. Vehicle preparation. Run the engine to operating temperature. Then jack up the vehicle with a jack, pull up the handbrake and squeeze the front wheels with a wooden wedge. Check the situation when drilling into the chassis (please be sure to know the special safety precautions mentioned in your user manual first);
2. Drain the old oil. Use a 15mm wrench to loosen a little oil plug screw counterclockwise. Don't screw it too much. At this time, put the basin with the plastic bag under the screw (put it back slightly to prevent the oil from spraying far away when the oil just comes out.) After placing the basin, continue to tighten the screws by hand. When the oil drips bit by bit, carefully screw out the screws. Do not be scalded by hot oil;
3. Remove the oil filter element. When the oil flow is almost complete, use the filter wrench to remove the filter, open the oil cover on the engine cover, and use the filter wrench to unscrew the oil filter element counterclockwise. Screw out the oil filter element from the engine compartment and be careful not to touch the hot exhaust manifold. At this time, there is still a little residual oil in the mechanical filter. Be careful not to drip everywhere;
4. Replace the oil filter element. Wipe the chassis of the filter element on the engine with a rag. Then take a new oil filter element and apply a layer of oil film (new oil or old oil) on the gasket (round edge of filter element) by hand. This oil film can be used as sealant. Carefully put in the new oil filter element and turn it clockwise according to the thread. Once the threads are aligned, the filter element can be easily installed. Tighten the filter element by hand and be careful not to tighten it too tightly. Clean the oil drain bolt and the drain device, and then replace the oil drain bolt. First rotate the oil drain bolt by hand, and then fix it with a wrench. Be careful not to tighten it too tightly;
5. Fill in new oil. Above the engine, you will see the cover with the word "oil". Open the oil cap, insert the funnel and inject a certain amount of oil, pull out the dipstick to determine whether it has been fully loaded. Then cover the oil cover and wipe off the spilled oil;
6. Start the engine for a few minutes. Then close and check the dipstick again to see if the oil level is correct. Finally, check whether there is oil leakage at the bottom of the vehicle.
