The diesel filter element shall be replaced every 10000-20000km. High quality diesel filter can effectively block the dust and moisture contained in diesel fuel, and can effectively extend the service life of filter elements such as fuel injection pump and diesel nozzle. With the increase of the vehicle's service life, mileage and fuel filter, the fuel filter will work for a long time. If it is not replaced at the end of its service life, it will lead to weak acceleration, increased fuel consumption, increased noise, reduced handling performance and other failures.

Structure of diesel filter
At present, domestic diesel generators often use paper diesel filter elements with simple structure, small volume, small quality, good filtering effect and low cost. Paper diesel filter elements are mainly composed of aluminum filter, steel plate stamped shell and paper filter elements.
The oil inlet on the filter cover is connected with the fuel transfer pump, the oil outlet is connected with the fuel injection pump, the oil return pipe connector is connected with the fuel injector pipe, and the cover is also equipped with a vent plug. The inside of the paper filter element assembly is a drum with many small holes. The outside is surrounded by a folded special filter paper. Both ends are glued and sealed with a cover plate. After the diesel enters the filter, it flows through the filter paper and collects in the filter drum. Then it flows through the oil outlet to the fuel injection pump. The impurities and water accumulated at the bottom of the housing are discharged from the oil drain plug at the bottom of the housing.
