【Meiruier Filter】How often to change the built-in fuel filter

2021-08-11 View:

The replacement cycle of the built-in fuel filter:
1. The built-in gasoline filter is generally together with the gasoline pump and is installed in the fuel tank. Because replacement is more troublesome and the cost is relatively high, it is usually replaced once every 10W km;
2. Understand the role of the gasoline filter. The main role of the gasoline filter is to filter impurities in the gasoline, so that the gasoline that enters the combustion engine is clean, burns more fully, reduces the formation of carbon deposits in the cylinder, and provides better power input;
3. Long-term failure to replace the gasoline filter will cause the filter element inside the steam filter to be too dirty and fail to filter. In severe cases, it will cause gasoline blockage, the vehicle cannot be started or the vehicle is turned off during driving, so the gasoline filter needs to be replaced regularly.

working principle:
1. Gasoline filter is abbreviated as steam filter. Gasoline filters are divided into carburetor type and electronic injection type;
2. For gasoline engines using carburetor, the gasoline filter is located on the inlet side of the fuel transfer pump, and the working pressure is relatively small. Generally, nylon shells are used. The gasoline filter of the EFI engine is located on the outlet side of the fuel transfer pump, and the working pressure is relatively high, usually with a metal casing;
