Filter as one of important project of the auto maintenance, except for the common three filters(oil filter, air filter, diesel filter) maintenance, there is transmission filter, which is often ignored.

The transmission filter is seldom referred when talking about the daily checking and maintenance. Usually when the filter is damaged and will influence the working of transmission , then people check and repair.

2.  Transmission filter, is usually use paper filter, mat filter or filter membrane to clean the dirt. Asia car makers usually use filter membrane while Europe and America is more likely to use paper filter and mat filter

Transmission filter, as the second largest assembly for the engine protection, it needs to be changed according to the suggested changing cycle of the factories.

Some factories promote long lifetime and maintenance free transmission filter, the changing cycle can be 160000km/h, but in the condition of bad driving environment and heavy dust, the changing cycle just can be 80000km/h.
