Nowadays, the engine is basically equipped HPCR, filter pressure and tolerance more stringent.

Once the water or impurities into the fuel supply system, the engine is prone to damage, and even scrapped in advance. Diesel filter, can filter water or impurities, to avoid mechanical wear, resulting in engine damage.

Classification of diesel filter

Diesel filter structure, roughly the same as the oil filter, can be divided into 2 types,replaceable filter, rotary filter. Diesel filter pressure, temperature resistance, much lower than oil filter. 

High temperature when the engine is running will pass to the oil, so oil filter needs high temperature resistance, while the fuel filter only needs fuel supply can be smoothly at room temperature. But the diesel filter efficiency requirements, much higher than the oil filter.

Diesel filter, according to the different role of the filter, the filter can also be divided into 3 categories: diesel water separator, coarse filter, secondary filter.

1.  Diesel filter-water separator: the main function is separating the water from diesel oil.

The presence of water will rust, wear and tear, sometimes even worsen the combustion process of diesel oil. What’s more, China's diesel sulfur content is higher, when burning it will rust the parts in engine.

2. Diesel filter-coarse filter: the main function is filter the larger impurities in the diesel oil, usually it is installed in the fuel tank.

3. Diesel filter-secondary filter: Under the four standards of the state, diesel fine filter is mainly used to filter the impurities of 3-5μm in diesel oil, thus it the main filter parts. Water separator and secondary filter are installed out the fuel tank, so that easy for maintaining.

Diesel filter as one of the commonly used supplies, during daily traffic process,  need to pay attention to the timely maintenance of filter, in order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the diesel oil filter, as a result, the engine is durable, and reduce the transportation cost.
