The function of diesel filter

The main function of diesel filter is to filter the impurites in the diesel fuel , to protect the fuel system pump, nozzles and other parts. The fuel system pump and nozzles are precision parts. If the diesel filter is not filtering, it’ll cause pump,nozzle clogging and reduce the engine efficiency and increase fuel consumption.

Diesel filter has water treatment function. Huge water damage to the engine and can cause corrosion damage cylinder piston rings, cylinder pull will produce more serious phenomenon.

Diesel filter,based on the difference of water, fuel density through the fluid flow control technology, water separation, filtering the water reaches the filter effect. Diesel filter, mainly through the addition of water precipitation, as well as internal filter filters and other discrete components.

Spin-on fuel filters, filter primitive filtration efficiency ≥90%, can filter out 5um above particles; filter water separation efficiency ≥90%;
The test for Spin on filtershall be subject, under the pressure 0.40MPa action, no less than 1min, part of the sealing, seal oil spill site is not allowed.

Diesel filters has a oil-water separatorfunction, mainly used to filter diesel fuel in the water, in order to reduce nozzle failure to extend.
