Split flow machine filters are commonly used in heavy-duty trucks, construction machinery, and diesel engines. They are installed in parallel, with only a portion of the oil output from the filter oil pump, and the remaining oil directly entering the main oil passage. The biggest feature of this machine filter is its large capacity for dirt and strong resistance to dirt, which can cope with harsh working conditions such as high load, high dust, and long-term continuous operation.
Large equipment often adopts a combination of full flow and split flow dual filtration, balancing filtration accuracy and fuel supply efficiency. Do not install a split flow filter in household cars, as it will increase oil resistance and affect cold start lubrication; The misuse of full flow machine filters in trucks can easily lead to rapid blockage and failure, and maintenance selection must accurately match the vehicle model.
