Methods and procedures for changing oil and fuel filters:

1. Remove the clogged filter with a rotary filter wrench
2. Fill the specified lubricating oil (fuel or diesel) to the oil filter (fuel filter) of the diesel engine to be installed;
3. Let the oiled filter rest for half a minute, and then add oil to the filter;
4. Repeat step 3 several times until the air in the filter is completely discharged and the filter is full of oil or fuel;
5. On the upper end of the filter seal ring, apply a thin layer of diesel lubricating oil film, then install the filter on the filter seat, rotate the filter until the seal ring contacts the filter seat surface.
6. Then rotate the full-flow oil filter, side-flow oil filter and fuel filter 3/4 ~ 1, 1, 1/2 ~ 3/4 turns, be careful not to screw too tight.

It is not allowed to install the unrefueled filter directly on the filter seat, otherwise it will cause a series of serious problems such as diesel engine tile burning, crankshaft locking, dry wear and damage of parts.

In the fuel filter, because the specific gravity of the oil is lighter than that of water, the water settles in the lower part of the filter, and the oil is above the water. When the water is discharged, the screw plug under the filter is removed first, or the plastic cock at the bottom of the filter is loosened, the filter is then relieved, and then the water is first flowed out, and the oil is then flowed out. When the water in the filter has been basically discharged, the screw plug or the tightening plastic cock is immediately installed.
