Dry air filter working principle
The dry air filter is composed of an air filter cylinder, a pre-filter device, a main filter element, a dust collecting disc, a dust discharge bag, etc. The filter works on the principle of whirlwind dust collection.
The first stage of the dry air filter is a prefiltration device, which makes the air entering the air filter produce a whirl, and separates the large dust particles to the periphery of the centrifugal area by centrifugal action. The coarse filtered air passes through the paper filter element to further separate the fine dust in the air and adhere to the outer surface of the paper filter element of the filter to complete the filtration of the air filter.
The efficiency of the air filter prefiltration device is a key factor in the dust removal capacity. Under full operation, the filtration efficiency of the dry air filter can reach more than 99.9%.

Dry air filter maintenance
The installation of the parts of the air filter should pay attention to the position, and can not be reversed. Once the shell of the air filter is broken, it should be replaced in time. In addition, the filter element seal ring has degummed and needs to be replaced.
When the filter is clean, the filter paper cannot be cleaned in water or oil. After the dust on the filter paper filter element is removed, observe whether there is damage, if the filter is damaged, it should be replaced immediately.
Under normal circumstances, the filter element needs to be replaced every six months, and the paper filter element is maintained up to 3 times. The intake system installed with a two-stage air filter needs to shorten the maintenance cycle of the first stage air filter to prevent the intake back pressure from exceeding the engine limit and affecting the performance of the engine.
