Why do oil filters need to be replaced regularly?
The function of an oil filter is to filter car fuel.
Gasoline is refined from crude oil through complex processes, then transported to various refueling stations through specialized channels, and finally transported to the owner's fuel tank. During this process, impurities in gasoline will inevitably enter the fuel tank, and as the usage time prolongs, impurities will also increase. In this way, the filter used to filter fuel will become dirty, and if this continues, the filtering effect will be greatly reduced.

What happens if the oil filter is not replaced regularly as required?
Lubricating oil (commonly known as engine oil) is stored in the oil pool. When the engine is running, it is pumped out of the oil pool by the engine oil pump, passed through the oil filter, and then sent through the oil pipeline to various parts that need lubrication, such as the crankshaft, camshaft, rocker arm, etc. Finally, the oil flows back into the oil pool. So it flows back and forth, constantly working.
As for the engine, oil plays a role in lubrication, cleaning, cooling, sealing, and other functions. So, regardless of the vehicle type, the owner must change the oil according to the mileage specified in the manual.
