The oil filter is located in the engine lubrication system. The upstream of the filter is the oil pump, and the downstream is the various components in the engine that need lubrication.
Oil filter function
Oil filter is used to filter out harmful impurities in engine oil and provide clean oil to the crankshaft, connecting rods, valves, valve guides, turbochargers, piston rings and other moving pairs. It plays a role in cooling, cleaning, and lubrication, thereby extending the lifespan of components, reducing friction resistance, increasing engine power, reducing noise and fuel consumption, and extending engine service life.
The oil filter generally requires replacement along with the oil, every 5000 kilometers, in order to achieve the best filtering effect.
The expected performance of the oil filter
Quality conditions for maintaining oil filter performance
A. High filtration performance (filtration efficiency)
B. Low pressure loss rate
C. Long lifespan (large capture capacity)
The oil filter should have durable and reasonable quality conditions
A. High pressure resistance, vibration resistance, durability, and no oil leakage
B. Low temperature and high temperature resistance, high-quality filter paper, adhesives, and rubber will not melt, and there will be no oil leakage phenomenon
C. Easy and lightweight loading and unloading
