Centrifugal oil filter,
after long time of usage,it will easily cause too much sedimentary and
then cause the blockage of the jet. Or after maintaning the filter,
it cause the the loss of efficiency if not installed correctly. The
working of Centrifugal oil filter is assessed by the speed of the rotor.
When the speed of the
rotor is normal, the filter effect is the best. If the speed is too low,
it will lower the performance of the filter and even it will lose the
filtration function. The speed of the rotor can be measured by flash
tachometer or it can be measured rotor free rotation, checking the
technical state of the rotor.
The method of testing the rotational inertia of rotor
Heating the engine after
starting and make the oil temperature to the normal range and then make
the engine do fast idling, at the same time stop oil supply
immediately. At this tiem, near the centrifugal filter can hear the
voice the rotor rotating. From the stopping oil supply to stop rotation,
the time should not be less than 40 seconds.
