During the driving process, lubricating oil between various components is used, but the use of engine oil is also filtered. The engine oil itself contains a certain amount of colloids, impurities, moisture, and additives. During driving, impurities in the air gradually increase, so the engine filter of the car plays an important role.
The steps for changing the oil filter are to remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil. After draining, clean the drain plug. Install the oil drain plug again and tighten it according to the following requirements. Tightening torque: 30Nm Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter. Apply engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil filter. Screw the new oil filter onto the oil filter holder by hand until the O-ring of the filter contacts the installation surface, and then tighten it with an oil filter wrench. In order to tighten the oil filter precisely, pay attention to identifying the precise position of the filter O-ring in initial contact with the installation surface. After contact with the installation surface, tighten the filter by an additional 3/4 turn using an oil filter wrench. Tightening torque: 15Nm. Attention: There are various types of oil filters, but only high-quality filters can ensure maintenance quality, so oil filters must use high-quality genuine products. If an oil filter that does not meet the specifications is used, it can cause engine oil leakage and oil pollution. Special reminder: Before replacing the oil filter with a new one, the rubber gasket of the filter on the cylinder block must be replaced. In most cases, to reduce pollution from newly added oil, the oil filter needs to be changed when changing the oil to ensure the most effective performance of the oil.
