All flow type oil filter should be tested according to ISO4548 standard:

4 .The filter life and filtration efficiency test, determination of the filter was ordered by particle counting method, draw pressure during the test - the test of time or pressure - plus the weight of the gray curve to achieve the test time 75% bypass valve opening pressure, or contaminant weight, to indicate the filter life.

5. Cumulative efficiency test: the weight analysis method was used to determine the life time of the filter core to evaluate the test time or the amount of the pollutant when the test point was reached.

6. Hydraulic pulse fatigue test: test the oil filter in use, to pressure fluctuations by the engine cooling condition. When the pulsating hydraulic test requirements, 1000 cycles, to determine the filter housing, sealing ring, and the filter pressure fluctuations compression capability.

7. Resistance to vibration fatigue test: the installation of oil filter assembly, simulation engine plus mounting structure or surface caused by vibration frequency and amplitude of resonance, maintain the specified oil pressure, cycle 10 million times, to make sure no small traces of oil leakage, or fatigue damage performance.
