During the operation of the engine, the introduction of metal debris, the entry of impurities in the air, and the generation of oil oxides gradually increase the amount of impurities in the engine oil. If the engine oil enters the lubricating oil circuit without being filtered, it will bring the impurities contained in the oil into the friction surface of the motion pair, accelerate the wear of parts, and reduce the service life of the engine. Diesel engine set usually has four filters: air filter, diesel filter, oil filter and water filter.

Filter: The filter of diesel generator set is a special pre filtering equipment for diesel used in internal combustion engines. It can filter more than 90% of mechanical impurities, resins, asphaltenes, etc. in diesel, so as to maximize the cleanness of diesel and improve the service life of the engine. Unclean diesel will cause abnormal wear and tear of the engine's fuel injection system and cylinders, resulting in a decrease in engine power, a rapid increase in fuel consumption, and a significant reduction in the lifespan of the generator. The use of diesel filters can significantly improve the filtration accuracy and efficiency of engines using felt type diesel filters, extend the lifespan of imported high-quality diesel filters by several times, and have a significant fuel saving effect.

How to install a diesel filter: The installation of a diesel filter is extremely simple. When using it, simply connect it in series with the reserved inlet and outlet ports on the fuel supply pipeline. Pay attention to connecting in the direction indicated by the arrow, and the direction of oil inlet and outlet should not be reversed. When using and replacing the filter element for the first time, it is necessary to fill the diesel filter with diesel and pay attention to the exhaust. The exhaust valve is located on the end cover of the barrel.
