Fuel filter replacement time:
1. There are two types of gasoline filters: one is an external gasoline filter, which is installed in the middle of the gasoline pipeline and is generally replaced every 20,000 kilometers; the other is the built-in gasoline filter, which is installed in the fuel tank of the vehicle and is generally replaced every 100,000 kilometers or so;
2. The built-in gasoline filter is generally together with the gasoline pump and is installed in the fuel tank. Because the replacement is more troublesome and the cost is relatively high, it is generally replaced once every 8-10W km;
3. If the gasoline filter is not replaced for a long time, the filter element inside the steam filter will be too dirty and will not be able to filter. In severe cases, the gasoline will be blocked, the vehicle will not be able to start or the engine will stall while driving, so the gasoline filter needs to be replaced regularly.
The role of the fuel filter
1. The fuel filter is connected in series on the pipeline between the fuel pump and the fuel inlet of the throttle body. The function of the fuel filter is to remove the iron oxide, dust and other solid debris contained in the fuel to prevent the fuel system from clogging, especially the fuel injector;
2. Reduce mechanical wear, ensure stable engine operation and improve reliability. The structure of the fuel burner consists of an aluminum shell and a bracket with stainless steel inside. The bracket is equipped with a high-efficiency filter paper, which is in the shape of a chrysanthemum to increase the flow area. The EFI filter cannot be used in common with the carburetor filter;
3. Since the EFI filter often bears the fuel pressure of 200-300KPA, the compressive strength of the filter is generally required to reach more than 500KPA, while the carburetor filter does not need to reach such a high pressure;
