Under normal driving conditions, it is enough to replace the air filter once every 10,000 kilometers or half a year. Of course, if the vehicle is driving in a dusty environment, the replacement cycle should not exceed 3 months. Consequences of a dirty air filter:
1. If the air filter element is seriously dirty, the air intake will be insufficient and the acceleration hysteresis will increase. At the same time, the lack of oxygen will cause insufficient combustion of the mixture, insufficient power, more fuel supply, and increased fuel consumption.
2. After the air conditioner is used for a period of time, impurities, dust and bacteria will be generated. If these impurities and dust are directly blown into the car, the air environment in the car will deteriorate, affecting the health of the driver and passengers;
3. The air conditioner filter element is to filter the impurities in the air blown from the air conditioner into the car to optimize the air quality in the car.

The impact of a dirty air filter on the car:
1. After the air filter element is dirty, the effect of filtering the air is not good, which will cause the engine sound to fall and the throttle valve to deposit more carbon. The incoming air is different, and the ignition effect will also be affected. It can be replaced every 5,000 kilometers;
2. The main function of the car air filter is to filter the air entering the car engine to ensure that the incoming air is relatively pure. If the air core filter is too dirty, it needs to be replaced;
3. If the air filter element is too dirty and a large amount of dust is attached to it, it will hinder the passage of air and reduce the intake air volume of the engine, thereby causing the engine power to drop and the fuel consumption to increase.

Steps to replace the air conditioner filter element:
1. The air-conditioning filter element is located in the glove box of the co-pilot, open the glove box, and you can see the fixing method of the glove box;
2. The left and right are fixed by buckles, and it can be opened outwards. The right side separates the piston damping sleeve together;
3. Then remove the glove box as a whole. If there is a built-in light, you need to unplug the light. After removing the glove box, you can see the installation interface of the air conditioner filter element. Press the buckles on both sides to open the baffle and take out the old air conditioner filter element;
4. Install the new air conditioner filter element, paying attention to the installation direction. Reinstall the glove box back.
