The oil compartment is generally replaced once every 10,000 kilometers. When changing the oil, the oil compartment should be changed together:
1. Oil filter, also known as oil grid. Used to remove impurities such as dust, metal particles, carbon deposits and soot particles in engine oil to protect the engine;
2. The oil filter is divided into full flow and split flow. The full-flow filter is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil passage, so it can filter all the lubricating oil entering the main oil passage. The shunt filter is connected in parallel with the main oil passage, and only filters part of the lubricating oil sent by the oil pump;
3. The oil filter should have strong filtering ability, small flow resistance and long service life. Generally, several filters with different filtration capacities are installed in the lubricating system, such as filter collectors, coarse filters and fine filters, which are respectively connected in parallel or in series in the main oil passage.
Here's how to replace the oil filter:
1. First, drive the car into the maintenance parking space, and use a lift to raise the car to a height of 160-170cm. Remove the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise with the special oil filter wrench;
2. Then take out the new oil filter from the packing box and check the threads and rubber seals on the new filter, clean the mounting seat on the cylinder block, and then apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the rubber seal of the filter;
3. The third step is to install. Install the oil filter by hand, and then use a special tool to tighten the oil filter clockwise. After installation, fill the engine with oil to the specified level, run the engine for at least 3 minutes, and then check for oil leakage.
