The role of gasoline filter:
1. Clean fuel Compared with carburetor vehicles, EFI vehicles require cleaner fuel, because even the smallest impurities will wear down the precision parts in the EFI system;
2. Therefore, EFI vehicles need a special gasoline filter, which filters impurities in the fuel to prevent them from entering the injection valve and cold start valve;
3. The gasoline filter is an important part of the electronic fuel injection system. Only the gasoline filter that is matched by the original factory or exceeds the matched quality can provide the clean fuel required by the electronic injection system, so as to optimize the performance of the engine and at the same time provide the best protection for the engine;
4. The importance of gasoline to automobiles is the same as the importance of food to the human body. Without the supply of gasoline, it is difficult for a vehicle to move at all. In addition, in terms of gasoline products, if the oil product is not good and the gasoline contains more impurities, this will cause damage to the fuel injector, fuel pump, fuel pipeline and other components in the engine, thereby affecting the normal operation of the fuel system. Therefore, at this time, the role of the gasoline filter is fully reflected;
5. Simply put, the function of the gasoline filter is to filter out solid impurities such as iron oxide and dust or water contained in the gasoline. On the one hand, it can reduce the chance of the fuel injector being blocked by impurities, on the other hand, it can also ensure the quality of gasoline flowing into the fuel system.

Steps to replace the gasoline filter:
1. Make preparations before replacement. First, prepare a gasoline filter suitable for the original car model, and secondly, prepare the tools to be used. Commonly used tools include: oil cup, sealing red glue, tubing clamp, pliers, screwdriver, etc. Be careful not to wear chemical fiber clothes to prevent static discharge sparks;
2. Because there is pressure in the fuel system, in order to avoid fuel injection or fire accidents when removing the gasoline filter, release the pressure in the fuel system before disconnecting the fuel line;
3. After finding the position of the gasoline filter, unplug the gasoline filter from the mounting bracket, place the oil receiving cup under the oil pipe, and use pliers to remove the original disposable pipe clamps on both sides;
4. Unplug the oil pipe from the oil inlet of the gasoline filter. At this time, the fuel in the pipe will overflow and introduce the oil into the cup. When the flow rate is low, put on the hose clamp and connect the oil inlet of the new gasoline filter as soon as possible. When the other end of the interface is temporarily blocked to install the gasoline filter, it is necessary to distinguish between the oil inlet and the oil outlet. Usually the oil outlet is on the upper part of the gasoline filter, and the oil inlet is on the lower part of the gasoline filter. Arrows are used to indicate the direction of the gasoline flow on the gasoline filter. At the same time, the oil inlet of the old gasoline filter should also be blocked;
5. Unplug the other end of the old gasoline filter and connect it to the new gasoline filter.
