The oil filter element is not universal, and different machine filters may leak oil after running for a period of time.

Operation steps for replacing automobile oil filter:
1. Start the vehicle engine to warm up for 5-10 minutes, the oil pollutants are more likely to volatilize from the hot engine, and it can save effort when the filter is removed. In order to change the oil conveniently, park the car at a station with a lift, turn off the engine and pull up the handbrake, open the engine hood, find the position of the engine oil cap, and unscrew it. This can make the slop oil flow faster;
2. After raising the car, place an oil drum under the engine, unscrew the oil drain screw. If necessary, remove the engine guard plate to completely drain the dirty oil into the oil drum. After draining the oil, install the drain screw, use a new gasket if necessary, tighten it according to the manufacturer's requirements, and replace the oil filter. Place an oil bucket under the oil filter, use an oil filter wrench to remove the filter, and wipe the surface with a clean cotton cloth;
3. Coat the filter sealing ring with new oil, manually install the filter, when the gasket starts to contact, twist 3/4 to 1 turn, and add an appropriate amount of oil. This is mainly based on the manufacturer's description of the oil tank volume and oil type. Use the oil dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be higher than the mark, because part of the oil has not entered the filter;
4. Tighten the oil cap and start the engine, pay attention to check whether the filter and the oil drain screw are leaking, turn off the engine, recheck the oil position, dispose of the waste oil, and be careful not to pour it on the ground or in the sewer.
