Phenomenon caused by blocked fuel filter:
1. Towering phenomenon. Gasoline filter blockage is also a kind of oil circuit blockage. Poor fuel supply will cause gasoline atomization problems, resulting in an imbalance of the mixture ratio, resulting in insufficient combustion of the mixture, which is easy to cause towering phenomenon. If in the process of driving, the towering phenomenon cannot be felt on flat roads or to a lesser degree, and it will be obvious or obvious when going uphill;
2. The engine jitters at idling speed. If the gasoline filter is blocked, the engine oil path is not smooth, and the fuel injection nozzle is poorly atomized, the engine will shake significantly at idling speed. However, idling jitter is not necessarily a problem of the gasoline filter, and idling will jitter if the throttle is blocked, so this also requires comprehensive judgment;
3. The acceleration is weak and the load is difficult to carry. This is because even if the gasoline filter element is slightly blocked, the engine power will be reduced, and the acceleration will be weak. This is especially obvious in the case of uphill or load.
Fuel filter replacement steps:
1. Disconnect the fuel pump fuse of the vehicle or disconnect the power supply of the vehicle to avoid the oil pump action to pump out gasoline when the fuel pump is removed;
2. Remove the seat cushion of the rear seat and the cover plate on the oil pump; replace the old gasoline filter assembly with the corresponding parts on the new gasoline filter;
3. Use petroleum jelly to lubricate the sealing ring of the fuel pump to avoid the leakage of fuel or gas due to the loosening of the sealing ring after the sealing ring is twisted;
4. Install the fuel pump cable plug and the fuel pipe on the fuel pump to check whether there is leakage. If there is no leakage, you can install the seat. If there is any leakage, reinstall the sealing ring.
