Generally, the gasoline filter element of a small car is divided into external and built-in gasoline filter elements. The external gasoline filter element is replaced every 20,000 kilometers, and the internal gasoline filter element can be replaced every 40,000-60,000 kilometers.

The fuel filter needs to be replaced when the following phenomena occur:
1. Sudden acceleration is weak and the power of the car is significantly reduced when the car is running with a large load. The gasoline filter is slightly clogged, which will generally make the engine oil supply poor and cause the engine power to drop;
2. The engine shakes when idling. The gasoline filter is moderately blocked, which not only does not make the car power worse, but also causes engine shake when the car is idling;
3. It is difficult to start or cannot start directly. When the gasoline filter of the car is seriously blocked, the car will be difficult to start or even unable to start. Sometimes it takes 2-5 times to strike. Of course, all of the above fault phenomena need to be eliminated before other faults can be judged to be the fuel filter problem, because the fault phenomenon caused by the fuel filter problem is similar to the fuel system fault such as the clogged injector.
