The position of the oil filter is different in different cars, but the main positions are the top of the engine and the position below the engine. You only need to use special tools or a wrench of the same size to remove it. However, it should be noted that the oil needs to be drained first. There is an oil drain screw at the bottom of the engine. The oil can be drained after loosening, and it can be stored in a container.
How to replace the oil filter element:
1. Because most vehicles use oil filter elements of different models and sizes, suitable tools must be prepared;
2. Drain the old oil. Put the waste oil basin, and then use a wrench to turn out the oil plug screw counterclockwise to let the old oil drip out;
3. Remove the oil filter element. After draining the old oil, open the engine oil cap, unscrew the oil filter element counterclockwise with a filter element wrench, and unscrew the oil filter element from the engine compartment;
4. Reinstall the oil filter element. Before installation, put the sealing ring on the oil outlet first, and then screw on the new filter slowly. Do not tighten the filter too tightly. Normally, after tightening by hand, you can use a spanner to tighten 34 turns.
