Some car owners may encounter the presence of debris and impurities inside the new engine filter, which not only affects the filtering effect but also damages the engine. It is necessary to identify the cause and take preventive measures.
There are three main reasons for impurities entering the machine filter:
Firstly, there are issues with the production process of the product. Poor quality small factories have poor production environments, and impurities such as paper scraps, iron shavings, and dust are mixed in during the packaging of the machine filter, which comes with pollutants upon leaving the factory;
Secondly, the installation environment is not clean, and there is a lot of dust and unclean tools at the maintenance station. During the disassembly and assembly process, dust and debris fall into the interior of the machine filter;
Thirdly, there are residual impurities in the oil circuit, such as broken filter materials and oil sludge left in the oil circuit due to blockage and detachment of the old filter, and impurities directly sucked in after the installation of the new filter.
Preventive measures:
Priority should be given to purchasing new machine filters from reputable brands that are well sealed, and bulk products that have been opened should be avoided; Keep the workstation clean before installation and do not open the filter packaging in advance; When replacing the filter, simply clean the residual impurities in the oil circuit interface; After installation, idle for a few minutes to check the oil condition and avoid residual impurities that may damage the engine.
