Gasoline filter installation steps:
1. Prepare a new fuel filter. Do not wear chemical fiber clothes during operation to prevent electrostatic discharge sparks.
2. In order to avoid oil injection or fire accidents when removing the filter, release the pressure in the fuel system before disconnecting the fuel line. When replacing the fuel filter, it is best to choose the cold car state, at this time, the oil pressure in the fuel system is small, and the gasoline coming out when removing the filter is less.
3. Locate the fuel filter and remove the fuel filter from the mounting bracket. Put the oil cup under the oil pipe and remove the disposable pipe bands on both sides with pliers.
4. Pull out the pipe at the oil inlet of the fuel filter, and the fuel in the pipe will overflow and introduce the oil into the cup. When the flow rate is small, it is necessary to put on the tube hoop and connect the oil inlet of the new filter as soon as possible, and the other end interface is temporarily blocked. At the same time, the oil inlet of the old filter should also be blocked.
5. Remove the other end of the old filter and connect it to the new filter. Tighten the collar with a screwdriver to prevent oil leakage. Then install the replaced fuel filter back in place.
6. Start the car and idle for a period of time to see if the fuel filter interface is leaking oil and other phenomena.
If the filter hose is found to be aging or cracked by dirt, dust, oil and other dirt, it is necessary to replace the hose in time to ensure driving safety.
