"Three filters", that is, air conditioning filters, gasoline filters, oil filters
Air filter: to ensure that the air entering the engine is clean
There is a lot of dust suspended in the air, the main component is silica, which is a harder substance than metal, and the installation of air filters can reduce the wear of parts such as cylinders, pistons and piston rings. If the car does not install it, the cylinder wear will increase by 7 times, the piston wear will increase by 3 times, and the piston ring wear will increase by 8 times. Therefore, modern automobile engines are equipped with an air filter at the close of the carburetor (or the intake control device of the EFI engine).
Gasoline filter: to ensure that the fuel is clean, to prevent the production of gas resistance
Gasoline in the storage and filling process, it is inevitable to mix some impurities and moisture, these impurities with the fuel into the oil supply system and the engine cylinder, the cylinder will accelerate wear. Before the gasoline enters the gasoline pump, it must be filtered to ensure the normal operation of the gasoline supply system.
Oil filter: Filter oil to ensure the normal operation of the engine, is the most important of the three filters
During the use of internal combustion engine, dust, metal debris, carbon and other mechanical impurities will continue to be mixed into the oil, while the oxidation of air and combustion exhaust gas on the oil, will also make the oil gradually produce gum, mechanical impurities and gum mixed will also form sludge, which will not only accelerate the wear of moving parts, but also easily cause oil circuit blockage. In order to ensure the cleanliness of the oil, the engine is equipped with an oil filter in the lubrication system.
Air filter element: the engine in the working process to suck in a lot of air, if the air is not filtered, the dust suspended in the air is sucked into the cylinder, it will accelerate the piston group and cylinder wear. Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause a serious "cylinder pulling" phenomenon, which is particularly serious in a dry and sandy working environment. The air filter is installed in the front of the carburetor or the intake pipe to filter the dust and sand in the air to ensure that sufficient and clean air is entered into the cylinder.
