Automotive commonly used filters refer to engine oil filters, fuel filters, air filters and air conditioning filters. Regular replacement of automotive filters helps to extend the service life of the engine and improve its working efficiency.
Oil filter
When the engine is running, metal particles are produced, which aggravate the wear of engine components (such as oil pumps, crankshafts, cylinders, etc.), resulting in a shorter service life of the engine. Metal particles and impurities in the lubricating oil channel enter the oil through the washing of the engine oil, and the oil filter begins to play a role.
When the oil passes through the oil filter, the impurities in the oil will be filtered out by the oil filter, and the impurities will be left in the oil filter. With the continuous flow of engine oil, the sediment on the oil filter increases, which will cause the oil filter to clog, and the engine oil pressure is insufficient, resulting in the abnormal sound of the engine valve and the wear of the engine parts.
Fuel filter
During the storage and transportation of vehicle fuel, there are often metal rust or other impurities mixed into the fuel, which can not be burned, forming carbon deposits, so the fuel needs to be filtered before entering the engine. After the fuel flows through the fuel filter, the impurities will be filtered out by the filter. As the fuel continues to pass through the fuel filter, the impurities on the filter continue to accumulate, long-term use will cause the fuel filter to clog, so that the fuel can not be normally transmitted to the engine, resulting in poor engine acceleration or stalling.
In addition, the blockage of the fuel filter will also cause the oil pressure of the oil supply line to be too high, causing the fuel pump to be damaged by overload work, so it is necessary to regularly check and replace the fuel filter.
The air filter
During the operation of the engine, it is necessary to inhale a large amount of air and fuel mixture, once there are impurities in the inhaled air, it will cause the piston and cylinder wall wear, resulting in the cylinder seal is not strict and air leakage, resulting in insufficient cylinder pressure and power decline.
The air filter can effectively prevent impurities in the air from entering the cylinder, and the clean air and fuel are fully mixed to burn, effectively protecting the normal operation of the engine.
If the air filter is not unobstructed, it will directly lead to insufficient engine intake, insufficient fuel combustion, decreased power, and increased fuel consumption. Long-term use of ineffective air filters, combustion chamber is easy to produce carbon accumulation, resulting in unstable operation of the engine, and even more serious failures.
Air conditioning filter
General cars are equipped with air conditioning filters, when the car air conditioning system works, air conditioning filters will prevent dust and other air impurities into the carriage, impurities long-term adsorption on the air conditioning filter, easy to mildew. Once the air conditioner is turned on, it is necessary to clean and replace the air conditioner filter in time.
In order to ensure the long-term normal operation of the car and its own health, it is very important to regularly check and replace the car filter.
